The buttons are two buttons (a flat mother of pearl and a shanked iridescent plastic button) sewn on top of one another. The fabric I used is the camel hair I bought from Kashi in July. I lined it with a brocade he sold me last year.
Oh Gee, sorry - Gaylen reminds me that I should be posting better info. The pattern is Vogue 8307, the Armani coat knockoff.
Happy Sewing!

Yes - yummy with jeans! You need to be seen wearing this while walking down Newbury Street.
Oh, wow! I love this jacket! It looks perfect on you!
Love that coat! I want the details, which pattern is it? I don't want to have to search - okay, where can I find it on Stitcher's Guild. Great Job - looks fabulous.
is there a picture of the brocade lining? I LOVE printed linings inside solid jackets. I did one last year, all black and white / prim and proper on the outside, then put a flapper girl print lining in it. Really, linings are just so boring to put in, you have to entertain yourself somehow!
Thanks Ann :)
Great looking jacket.Clever touch with the buttons
