The Only Thing That's Happy in This Weather

That is one happy hibiscus. They say we will see the sun again tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.

Happy sewing!

I saw the link you left on Dawn's blog about sewing leather and read your advice. Thank you so much .. very helpful, I'm sewing micro poly waterproof coat fabric at the moment and it seems to need similar treatment!

I'm really impressed with your hibiscus, considering where you live!! I assume you have to bring it inside in the winter! Of course, they look like that all year here-I just had to cut ours back it was growing wild! Aloha, Diane

I know whatcha mean, I'm feeling a little soggy myself. But I think I'd rather have the rain than the searing, scorching heat they've been having in the rest of the country! Actually, we've had a couple of beautiful sunny days here in Washington DC and everything is so lush and green from the rain.

We have finally had some sunshine along with nearly 100 degrees temps. It's supposed to rain again today, though. Which is worse? It depends on if you are trying to get your yard work done or not.

So the sun does shine in Boston? I moved here about a week and a half ago so I was beginning to think the Puritans had a reason for dressing the way they did!!

105 and not a drop of rain in our neck of the woods. Why can't we both share a happy medium?

Lovely hibiscus!
