What a day!

I'll do a recap tomorrow. We arrived at the competition at 9:15 this morning, and just got home an hour ago (10 at night). Yawn! I'm wiped, but here are a few pictures to give you a feel for our day.
Waiting for Standard to start

Scoring Points with the Judges
Yes, that is Maxim from DWTS

One of seven cameras that were trained on them or us during the dance.
We got two, they got four.

It was great. But it's been a long day, I'm going to sleep. G'night!

Maxim is smiling! It's always a good thing when the judges smile.

I love it when children discover an activity they can commit to (besides playing video games!). And I love Maxim from DWTS!

What an adorable pair! It is nice to see that he has a cute little partner now (not that his teacher isn't - she's gorgeous, but this is little lady is just right!)

What an exhausting weekend - you must be so excited, though!

I remember how long cheerleading competitions were. I feel your pain. But those were fun days with my girls even if they were long days. Hope he had fun and you get some rest today.

Structured dancing is beautiful, hard work, and great exercise. What a wonderful path your son has chosen.
